This policy explains what Kenko Research LLC collects when you use kenkoresearch.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you create an account or place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, order contents, and the date and time of your research-use confirmation along with the IP address it was submitted from. We keep a record of your chosen payment method and the reference used to match your payment. We do not collect or store card numbers, bank account numbers, or banking credentials. Payments are made directly through the rails listed at checkout, and those providers handle their own data under their own policies.

Our host records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Why we use it

To process and ship your orders, to match payments, to answer your questions, to keep the legally required record of your research-use confirmation, to prevent fraud and abuse, and, where you have agreed, to send you marketing messages.

Marketing messages

If you opted in, we may email or text you about new compounds, restocks, and offers. You can opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, and out of texts by replying STOP. Transactional messages about orders you have placed continue regardless.

Who we share it with

We share what is necessary with the services that make the site work: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, and the shipping carrier that delivers your order. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

Order records, including research-use confirmations, are retained for at least seven years for tax, accounting, and compliance purposes. Account records are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by writing to hello@kenkoresearch.com. We may need to keep certain order records where the law requires it, and we will tell you when that applies.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

This site is not directed to anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and passwords are stored hashed and salted. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
